“I never expererit” crooner breaks 14-yr-old record in the U.S.

Nigerian sophomore, Divine Oduduru wrote his name into the Texas Tech record books after running a personal best time of 10.10 in the men’s 100m invitational, breaking a 14-year-old record.

The previous record was set by Tyree Gailes when he ran a 10.11 at the 2004 Outdoor National Championships. His time ranks sixth in the world.

“I am really proud of Divine and how he set his race up,” Head Coach Wes Kittley said. “I think he had the best start I have seen out of him since he arrived on campus. It was great to see him get a wind-legal 100-meter mark!”
